OG <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ausstellungstext im Humboldt Forum:<\/p>\n<p>Das Kunstwerk war Teil der Gem\u00e4ldegalerie im Hauptfoyer des Palastes der Republik, der 1976 an diesem Ort er\u00f6ffnet wurde. Unter dem Titel <em>D\u00fcrfen Kommunisten<\/em> <em>tr\u00e4umen? <\/em>spiegelten die insgesamt 16 Bilder etablierter K\u00fcnstler die kulturpolitische \u00d6ffnung der DDR in jenen Jahren. Wolfgang Mattheuers Bild <em>Guten Tag <\/em>l\u00e4sst sich als Kritik an politischen Fehlentwicklungen deuten. Seine Darstellung einer brutal in die Natur ausgreifenden Industriestadt nur auf die DDR zu beziehen, w\u00e4re jedoch irref\u00fchrend.
