Oktober 2023 geh\u00f6rt ein Modell des Palastes der Republik zum neugestalteten Ausstellungsbereich des DDR Museums. Mit einem Ma\u00dfstab von 1:125 ist dieses das bislang gr\u00f6\u00dfte seiner Art. Eine weitere Besonderheit besteht darin, dass das Modell auf einem Sockel aus Originalen aus dem Palast ruht. Hier stapeln sich die unterschiedlichsten Materialien, mit denen der Palast der Republik ausgestattet war: gr\u00fcner Teppichbelag aus der vierten Etage, wei\u00dfer Marmor der Au\u00dfenfassade und verschiedenfarbiges Holz der Wandverkleidungen und T\u00fcren.
